05 Oct 2024 Voter Registration
Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity, the world’s largest Asian-interest fraternity, launches its #LPHIEVOTES2024 voter engagement initiative via its partnership with National Voter Registration Day. As the 2024 Presidential Election approaches, the fraternity emphasizes the importance of civic participation, especially among young Americans and the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
Through the #LPHIEVOTES2024 campaign, the fraternity aims to inspire its members and the broader community to not only vote but also actively raise awareness about civic engagement. The AAPI community represents a fast-growing voting bloc that can significantly impact election outcomes. Lambda Phi Epsilon’s campaign seeks to harness this collective power and build on the momentum of increased youth voter turnout in previous elections.
Lambda Phi Epsilon’s initiative will run through social media platforms to engage its vast network of undergraduate and alumni members. “From voter registration to turnout, every step matters,” says International Fraternity External Vice President Byron Solis. “It’s about showing our collective impact and leading by example. Our brothers have always been champions of advocacy, and this campaign reflects that spirit.”
Lambda Phi Epsilon is committed to ensuring that all members have the tools they need to participate in the election process. Voter registration deadlines, absentee ballot requests, and polling place information vary by state. Visit vote.gov for voter resources.
