Announcing Hiring of the Assistant to the Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity is pleased to announce the hiring of Zachary Antonius, of the Alpha Gamma Chapter at Baylor University, as the inaugural Assistant to the Executive Director. Antonius’ hiring becomes effective on August 20th, 2018.

Antonius is a recent graduate of Baylor University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. During his time as an undergraduate, he served as New Member Educator, Vice President Internal, Vice President External, and Treasurer. He was instrumental in raising cultural awareness through a variety of campus programming that included Lunar New Year, Autumn Moon, and Return of the Dragon Festivals. Professionally, Antonius has worked in program management and in the financial industry.

“I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to serve as the assistant to the executive director for Lambda Phi Epsilon,” says Antonius. “My goal is to continue to aid this fraternity in any way possible. I want to keep pushing our organization towards bigger and better accomplishments.”

“In the past 20 months, Lambda Phi Epsilon has gone from an organization led exclusively by volunteers to having two full-time, paid professionals handling the day-to-day operations of the Fraternity,” said International President William Tan. “The progress that this organization has made is a tribute to the leadership and vision of my predecessors and peers on the Board of Directors.”

Executive Director Jim Gaffney reflects “LFE, in partnership with alpha Kappa Delta Phi, continues to blaze a trail that transcends the role that many in the Greek community think that multicultural organizations can and should play. I look forward to the barriers that we’ll break and the new challenges we’ll confront in the years to come.”

Zac currently lives in Texas where he continues to serve his chapter as an alumni advisor.
